Ucsd blinkk6/13/2023 ![]() The Office of Contract & Grant Administration (OCGA), through their contract and grant officers/analysts is one of the designated campus office with delegated authority to solicit, accept, and execute extramural contracts and grants. ![]() We review terms and conditions to verify compliance with University of California policy and accept awards on behalf of The Regents of the University of California. We review, negotiate, and execute contracts and grants for sponsored projects funded by federal and state agencies, foundations, and other public and private sources. We submit proposals as Authorized Officials on behalf of the Regents of the University of California. We review proposals to ensure compliance with sponsor requirements and University of California policy. OCGA is responsible for reviewing and authorizing proposals for submission to extramural sponsors. For more information, please see our Sponsored Projects Lifecycle diagram. We are responsible for the stewardship of sponsored research and research collaborations from government, for-profit industry, non-profit, foreign, and University of California sponsors.
